The 2024 Members' Open Exhibit will celebrate
architecture, buildings, structures, and landmarks.

The Society of Illustrators is thrilled to present a Members' Open Exhibit centered around illustration artwork that showcases buildings and architecture. While the artwork may include people, places, and objects, the focal point must be on buildings or architectural elements within the illustration.

This upcoming year marks the 60th anniversary of New York City's Landmarks Law. This pivotal legislation was enacted to ensure that the preservation community, the broader public, and the city's visitors recognize and value the importance of historic preservation in shaping New York City's unique landscape. The law has played a crucial role in fostering a deep appreciation of architectural heritage and cultivating a new generation of preservationists who are dedicated to safeguarding the city's iconic structures.

This year, Society of Illustrators members will commemorate this significant milestone with their exceptional illustrations.
